The Jänisjärvi Louisiana-style Crawfish Party is just a month away!

On Saturday 9 August old and new friends gather to celebrate summer with good food and drinks. Crawfish will be served at 13:00, so please arrive on time. After cracking the claws the festivities continue well into the night with more food, drinks, good company as well as sauna and activities until brunch the next morning! All of this with a small American twist in true Louisiana crawfish spirit – so put on your stetson and enjoy!

This year the party fee is 40€ per person. It covers the food, tableware, and a kitchen helper. Last year a few costs were left uncovered so this slight increase should fix that. Any surplus will go towards next year's party.

As before, guests are in charge of the drinks. Please bring a cooler full of American beverages (or other foreign drinks fitting the theme) enough for your own consumption to be shared potluck style.

Feel free to dress in line with the American themed party. 🤠 Plus-ones are very welcome, just let us know in advance!
